As a recent patient of Dr. Gael McLean, I underwent a significant surgical procedure, and I would like to share my extraordinary experience with others who might be embarking on a similar journey. From the initial consultation to the surgery planning, Dr. McLean's approach was professional, incredibly empathetic, and reassuring. Her thorough explanations and genuine care in addressing my concerns eased my pre-surgery anxieties. Dr. McLean's confidence and kindness were a calming presence on the day of the surgery. Following the operation, she was one of the first faces I saw when I woke up. Her immediate presence post-surgery was immensely comforting, ensuring that everything had gone well and that I was in good condition. The care didn't stop after I left the operating room. Dr. McLean followed up with me over the phone to check my recovery progress. Even during my hospital visits for dressings, the nurses couldn't stop praising her. It was evident that her dedication and compassion were well-recognized and appreciated by her colleagues as well. It wasn't just Dr. McLean who was exceptional; the nurses and support staff (advanced nurse practitioners Angela and Clare) were also incredibly caring and efficient and reminded me of the care I received when I first had my Masectomy back in 2013 from my doctor then and the breast care nurse Gill, embodying the true spirit of NHS's commitment to patient care. Thanks to Dr. McLean's expertise, my implant replacement surgery was a success. Her exceptional care has helped me physically and uplifted me emotionally, restoring my positivity and sense of wholeness. I sincerely thank Dr.McLean for her exemplary care and professionalism. Her dedication to her patients is truly commendable. To those who may find themselves under the care of Dr McLean and her team, rest assured you are in the hands of one of the best in the NHS. My experience is a testament to the excellent care and support you can expect. Pamela Steele

Her care and concern together with her professionalism was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. Her patience when answering any of my questions was unbelievable. Ms McLean never made me feel I was taking up too much of her time. I felt totally confident and comfortable with her.
